Before the upgrade, the company faced four constraints that capped its growth:
Capacity ceiling. A single line could not meet the hollow-block and brick volumes required for large housing and infrastructure tenders, especially in peak building season.
Quality-at-scale risk. Scaling output by adding manual or low-automation capacity risked dimensional and strength variance that larger projects specify against.
Land and overhead drag. Standing up two separate plants would have nearly doubled the footprint, crew and management load for only a linear gain in output.
No redundancy. A single line meant any breakdown stopped the entire supply — unacceptable for contracted housing and municipal schedules.
The operator needed a twin fully-automatic line configuration that could double output from one integrated plant, hold tight tolerances at volume, and keep producing even when one line was serviced.
After a supplier review in 2024, the producer selected the QT12-15 — Dongyue's flagship fully-automatic block machine built on table-mold synchronous vibration with a German-patent multi-point vibration system. Two units were integrated into one plant sharing batching, mixing, curing and central control. Dongyue handled pre-shipment FAT, on-site installation and commissioning in September 2024, operator training, and a spare-parts kit to keep both lines running with minimal overseas dependency.
