Challenge

1. The Challenge: EU Quality Standards Meet Capacity Limits Bulgaria's construction sector is riding a wave of EU-cohesion-funded infrastructure — new highways, the Renovation Wave retrofit program, and city paving upgrades. For our Plovdiv plant, demand for interlocking pavers and hollow blocks rose fast, yet our semi-automatic line, run by nine workers, could not keep pace. Three pressures converged: 1.Rising labor cost — Bulgarian wages climbed ~9% yearly; skilled operators grew scarce. 2.High energy prices — post-2022 electricity costs made our old 42 kW hydraulic motors expensive to run. 3.Strict EU compliance — EN 771-3 and CE marking demanded dimensional accuracy within ±1.5 mm; our rejects reached 7%. With bids slipping and complaints rising, upgrading to a certified automatic line became urgent.

Solution

The Solution: Dongyue QT6-15 Fully Automatic Block Making Machine We selected Dongyue's QT6-15 after evaluating five suppliers on automation, energy use, and EU compliance support. The PLC-controlled servo-hydraulic system cut energy per unit, while 45 kN synchronized vibration delivered EN-compliant density. Automatic pallet feeding reduced operators from 9 to 4; mold changeover takes under 10 minutes. Dongyue's Bulgarian-agent spare-parts stock and on-site training sealed the decision.
