Before the upgrade, the company faced four constraints that capped its growth:
Inconsistent supply. Hollow blocks and bricks were sourced partly from traditional manual yards and partly from imports; quality and lead times varied with each channel.
No controlled local capacity. Without its own line, the firm could not reliably meet the dimensional and strength specs demanded by larger housing and municipal projects.
Power and footprint limits. A large fully-automatic plant was impractical given grid variability and the available yard space and crew size.
Volume ceiling. Manual block-making capped daily output; the firm was turning away orders during peak building season.
The operator needed an entry-level semi-automatic line that could make multiple brick types on one machine, run on a lean crew, draw modest power, and scale output to capture rising domestic demand.
After a supplier review in 2026, the producer selected the QT4-24 — Dongyue's semi-automatic block machine built on table-mold synchronous vibration. The QT4-24 produces hollow blocks and standard bricks on one line by changing molds, with a low 10.58 kW installed power that suits variable-grid locations. Dongyue handled pre-shipment FAT, on-site installation and commissioning in June 2026, operator training, and a spare-parts kit to keep the line running with minimal overseas dependency.
