Dongyue Machinery Group signed a contract today with a Bangladesh-based construction materials company for one QT6-15 fully automatic block making machine production line. Elva, General Manager of Dongyue's foreign trade division, signed on behalf of the manufacturer.

The deal came together over six weeks of negotiation. The client — a family-run operation outside Dhaka that has been supplying hollow blocks to local housing projects since 2014 — had outgrown their two semi-automatic machines. Output was capped at roughly 8,000 standard bricks per shift, and the rejection rate from inconsistent vibration density was eating into margins.

"They knew exactly what they wanted," Elva said after the signing. "The owner's son is an engineer — he'd done the math on capacity, power consumption, and payback period before he ever contacted us. Our job was to match the right configuration to their budget and their raw material situation."

The contract covers a complete QT6-15 production line: main forming machine, JS750 twin-shaft mixer, PLD1200 batching machine, belt conveyor, stacker, and a set of molds for hollow blocks, solid bricks, and pavers. The QT6-15 runs a 15-to-20-second molding cycle with 45 kN excitation force and Siemens PLC control — specs that put daily output at 24,000 to 28,000 standard bricks across an 8-hour shift, roughly triple what the client was producing before.

Raw material compatibility was a sticking point. The client uses local river sand with a higher silt content than typical river sand in China, which affects bonding strength. Dongyue's technical team ran sample tests and adjusted the vibration frequency parameters and moisture ratio recommendations accordingly. The mixer was also upgraded from the standard JS500 to a JS750 to handle the slightly stickier mix.

The signing took place via video conference — a necessity in April 2020, when international travel was largely suspended. Both parties reviewed the final equipment list, warranty terms, and delivery schedule on screen before exchanging signed copies by courier. The production line is scheduled to ship from Qingdao Port in late June, with installation and operator training to follow in July.
