Prior to installing the QT6-15, the operator faced four interlocking constraints:
Output ceiling on manual methods. Existing semi-mechanized equipment capped daily production; during peak seasons (pre-monsoon, post-festival construction waves) the firm was turning away orders or subcontracting at thin margins.
Inconsistent quality from mixed sources. Part of the volume came from small manual yards and traditional kilns; dimensional tolerance and compressive strength varied batch-to-batch, limiting access to quality-sensitive projects.
Labor dependency. Manual block-making required a large crew per shift, with output quality sensitive to individual operator skill and fatigue — raising both cost and defect rates.
No path to larger contracts. Developers and infrastructure contractors increasingly demanded certified, consistent supply volumes that the existing setup could not guarantee.
After evaluating suppliers in late 2020 and early 2021, the producer selected the QT6-15 — Dongyue's mid-size fully automatic block machine built on table-vibration plus hydraulic top-pressure technology, with PLC programmable control and HMI touchscreen interface. The QT6-15 produces hollow blocks, porous bricks, standard bricks, paving stones, and curb stones on a single line through mold changes. Dongyue managed pre-shipment factory acceptance testing (FAT), on-site installation and commissioning in July 2021, comprehensive operator training, and provision of a spare-parts kit to minimize overseas downtime.
