The operator, [Replace with the client's actual company name before publishing], is a Vietnam-based building-materials producer serving contractors and distributors in one of the country's fast-industrializing regions. By 2009, Vietnam's construction sector was expanding rapidly on the back of strong FDI inflows, a booming real-estate market, and a national drive to modernize wall materials — steadily shifting demand from traditional clay bricks toward consistent, non-fired concrete hollow blocks and standard bricks.
For a producer in this environment, the commercial logic was straightforward: make more blocks, more consistently, closer to where they are poured. Vietnam's urbanization and industrial-park build-out kept concrete-masonry consumption climbing, and buyers increasingly specified dimensional accuracy and strength that small manual yards could not guarantee at volume. Producers able to localize hollow-block and standard-brick output held a clear edge on lead time, cost, and quality.
Before the upgrade, the company faced four constraints that capped its growth:
Mixed and inconsistent supply. Hollow blocks and standard bricks were sourced partly from traditional clay-brick kilns and partly from imports; quality and lead times varied with each channel.
No controlled local capacity. Without its own automated line, the firm could not reliably meet the dimensional and strength specs demanded by larger housing and industrial-park projects.
Volume ceiling. Manual and semi-mechanized yards capped daily output; the firm was turning away orders during peak construction season.
Labor intensity. Manual block-making tied up a large crew and exposed output quality to operator skill and fatigue.
The operator needed a mid-size automatic line that could make multiple brick types on one machine, run on a lean crew, and scale output to capture the rising domestic demand.
After a supplier review in 2008, the producer selected the QT6-15 — Dongyue's mid-size automatic block machine built on table-vibration plus hydraulic top-pressure, with PLC and HMI control. The QT6-15 produces hollow blocks, porous bricks, standard bricks, paving stones, and curb stones on one line by changing molds. Dongyue handled pre-shipment FAT, on-site installation and commissioning in January 2009, operator training, and a spare-parts kit to keep the line running with minimal overseas dependency.

"Before the QT6-15, we were buying from many small kilns and importers — quality was never the same twice. Now we make our own hollow blocks and standard bricks here in Vietnam, at a steady high volume, with dimensions our big clients actually trust. The line paid for itself faster than we expected, and we finally say yes to orders we used to turn away."
