Dongyue Machinery Co., Ltd. and Linyi Vocational College reached an agreement this month to build a closer school-enterprise partnership, matching classroom training with the real floor of a block machine and AAC equipment manufacturer.

Under the deal, the college will channel more mechanical engineering and electromechanical graduates toward Dongyue, easing a hiring gap the company has felt as export orders climbed. In return, Dongyue committed to opening more internship and hands-on practice slots for students, and is weighing a dedicated on-site training base inside its plant.

For the college, the value is straightforward: students who have torn down a vibration box or watched a QT6-15 line run are worth more on the job market than those who have only seen diagrams. For Dongyue, it is a steadier pipeline of technicians who already understand the machines before day one.

Both sides plan to start with a pilot group of interns in the second quarter, with the practice base design to follow.
