Your brick machine's output depends 70% on operation and 30% on maintenance. After years of after-sales service, here's what we tell every customer: don't wait until it breaks.
● Check vibration box oil level — top up if low. Keep hydraulic station cooling water flowing (cold in, warm out). Overheated oil kills seals fast.
● Clean residual material from molds after each shift. Tighten press head bolts.
● Lubricate bearings once per day. Always cut power before greasing.
● Chain tension — too loose causes skipping, too tight causes rapid wear. Find the sweet spot.
● Conveyor belt tracking — adjust tension nuts so both sides run aligned. Don't wait until it frays.
● Limit switches and proximity sensors — test responsiveness. Burnt contacts? Replace immediately.
● Weak vibration → Adjust spring preload.
● Low hydraulic pressure → Check motor rotation direction first, then relief valve setting.
● Press head won't reach position → Check limit switch signal output. If damaged, replace.
● Solenoid valve stuck → Either coil burnt or debris inside. Replace coil or clean valve.
Chains, rubber pads, limit switches, AC contactors, V-belts — stock these five. Downtime waiting for parts costs far more than the parts themselves. Molds with carburizing heat treatment reach 54-58 HRC, lasting 100,000+ cycles. Regular inspection always beats emergency repair.
